Many of the slices in the Easy Cakes and Desserts section can be made ahead of time and frozen. Then they're available to be pulled out whenever you need them.
Similarly Kay's Cheese Ball is an all time favourite. I usually make between 6-8 at a time and keep them in the freezer. When I take them to a barbecue, I'm always asked for the recipe. They're that good.
